BANKING INDUSTRY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PRESENTATION – 2011

Publication Date: 29/03/2017

The passing of Ahmed Kathrada is a sad day for our whole country.

While we come together to remember Uncle Kathy and celebrate his contribution to South Africa, we are presented with a significant opportunity to reflect on his legacy and ponder what it truly means for our collective futures.

As we celebrate a remarkable legacy it is time now for us to revisit what it means to be committed to a non-racial and democratic society. Now more than ever in the post-apartheid era we need to follow the example he showed us to speak truth to power on important national issues, putting the country above our own interests.

This is the legacy Uncle Kathy would have wanted.

Rest in peace our dear friend.
